Everton’s Premier League clash away to Newcastle United has been brought forward a day and will be screened live on BT Sport.

The Blues were originally scheduled to play at St James’ Park on Wednesday 9 February but will now face the Magpies on Tuesday 8 February, with the fixture remaining a 7.45pm (GMT) kick-off.

Everton host Eddie Howe’s Newcastle on Thursday 30 December at Goodison Park (7.30pm GMT).

Tickets are now on general sale for that match, along with Sunday’s home game against Leicester City and the visit of Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday 2 January (2pm GMT).
