The Liverpool Echo continues with its analysis of Monday night's win over Arsenal, highlighting the contribution of Andre Gomes.

The Portuguese midfielder was introduced for the final third of the evening at Goodison Park and made a lasting impression, having coped with pressure in the middle of the park before assisting Demarai Gray's stunning winner.

The Merseyside publication discusses if a place in the starting line-up is on the cards for Gomes at Crystal Palace on Sunday.

"The Portuguese midfielder changed the dynamic of the game in the centre of the park as Everton added an extra man to the engine room," Chris Beesley wrote.

"Benitez must now decide whether that warrants a place in the starting line-up for the 28-year-old or whether he must remain a potentially impact substitute again."

Everton fan-led website Goodison News publishes a column with former Blues forward Kevin Campbell.

The 51-year-old discusses the performance of Richarlison on Monday night and praised the physical nature of the Brazilian forward.

“He’s only a slight lad but he doesn’t mind the physical side of the game,” Campbell stated.

“He uses his body really well and he’s mobile. I said before the game that it may suit Everton to be more mobile at the top-end of the pitch and it proved it because Richarlison got three goals.

“Two were disallowed but then he got the equaliser so I think it suited Everton and Richarlison for them to be more mobile at the top-end of the pitch.”

Finally, 90min has linked Everton with a move for Borussia Monchengladbach's Denis Zakaria.

The midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and could make a switch to the Premier League, it is believed.

However, the article adds that Leicester City are said to have contacted the Swiss' representatives over a move in the summer.
