WATCH: Tom Davies Meets Everton Veterans' Hub

Ahead of Remembrance Day 2021, Tom Davies joined Everton in the Community’s veterans’ project coordinator, Dave Curtis, and two participants from Everton Veterans’ Hub for a virtual call to learn more about their time in the forces.

The Blues midfielder met Bob Skinner, 76, and Jay Simms, 37, to listen to their experiences and find out how the charity’s specialist group has helped them in their transition back to civilian life.

DAVIES MEETS EVERTON VETERANS' HUB

Midfielder speaks with participants ahead of Remembrance Day 2021.

Everton Veteran’s Hub supports ex-service personnel by using the power of sport as a tool to help mitigate the risks associated with transitioning from such a structured and disciplined lifestyle.

The programme also provides the opportunity for like-minded veterans to meet and rekindle elements of military life that veterans express, they miss the most since leaving the forces such as like teamwork, competition, discipline, fitness, camaraderie and respect.
