Benitez Names Everton XI For Watford Clash

Anthony Gordon and Tom Davies return to Everton’s starting XI, as Rafa Benitez makes two changes for Saturday’s Premier League meeting with Watford.

Richarlison is fit enough for a place on the bench following a six-week absence with a knee injury.

Midfielder Davies replaces the injured Abdoulaye Doucoure and Gordon is restored following his appearance from the beginning of the game against Manchester United a fortnight ago.

Seamus Coleman starts at right-back, the Everton captain playing 12 years and one day after his first senior appearance for the Club.

Lucas Digne is on the left of defence and Ben Godfrey partners Michael Keane at centre-half.

Davies plays next to South American Allan in the centre of midfield.

The trio of Gordon and Demarai Gray and Andros Townsend support lone striker Salomon Rondon.

Jordan Pickford is Everton’s goalkeeper.

Brazilian forward Richarlison is joined among Everton’s substitutes by Alex Iwobi, Jean-Philippe Gbamin, Mason Holgate and Jonjoe Kenny.

Manager Benitez also includes teenage forward Lewis Dobbin and the goalkeeping pair of Asmir Begovic and Andy Lonergan among his replacements.
