Matchday Guide: Everton v Watford

Everton return to Premier League action on Saturday when Watford visit Goodison Park (3pm BST). See below for key information for fans attending the game.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

Fans are advised to arrive early, as the Club will again be increasing Covid checks around the perimeter of the stadium, in line with protocols and Premier League guidelines.

Supporters aged 18 or over should be prepared to present, if asked when entering the stadium, a valid NHS COVID Pass OR valid alternative proof that they have been fully vaccinated (see FAQs) OR proof that they have registered a negative COVID test in the previous 48 hours.

For more information about these requirements and matchday spot checks, including fans under 18, click here.

Supporters are reminded that all payments inside the stadium will be contactless, to speed movement through concourses and minimise contact at all points of sale.

FAN ZONE CLOSED AND PARK END ENTRY INFORMATION

The Fan Zone will not be in use for this fixture. This is in order for the Club to accommodate additional changing room facilities at the Park End of the stadium for visiting teams as part of Premier League protocols to maintain a bubble for players and staff.

Additionally, the Sir Philip Carter Park End will only be accessible via Goodison Road and will open for fans from 1.45pm (BST). All other stands will be open 90 minutes before kick-off, from 1.30pm.

FOODBANK DONATIONS

A group of foodbank volunteers and their unmissable purple vehicle will be based on the corner of Winslow Street and Goodison Road, next to The Winslow Hotel public house.

MATCHDAY HUB AND HERITAGE SOCIETY

The Matchday Hub based at Everton Free School will also not be in operation for the Watford match, however the Everton Heritage Society at St Luke's Church will be open from 12pm, closing at 2.30pm.

EVERTON USA ACTIVITY

The players will warm-up in a limited-edition warm-up shirt inspired by its fanbase in the USA and celebrating the Club's long-standing, historic ties with the country.

The two-tone blue shirt, which features the US flag's famous stars and stripes across its front, has been created by Everton's Technical Partner, hummel, and is allowing the Club to show its appreciation to supporters living in - and from - the United States.

The release also coincides with the latest NBC ‘Premier League Mornings Live’ fan festival that will be taking place in Los Angeles, California, across both days of this weekend.

As part of its own activity for the event, and to ensure as many Evertonians across the United States can get involved, Everton will be hosting a live post-match show, Everton USA Live, following the Watford fixture.

The programme – a follow-up to the inaugural Everton USA Live in April 2021 and a subsequent spin-off series during the Club’s pre-season trip to Orlando, Florida in July - will combine US-themed content and live match reaction on our social channels to all fans worldwide, including interviews with guests including Rafa Benitez, Tim Howard and Landon Donovan.
