Ahead of this weekend's Premier League fixture against Watford, the Liverpool Echo speculates who could return to the squad.

Richarlison returned to training with images released to the press and reporter Adam Jones breaks down his findings from the photos.

"Andre Gomes also seems to be back on the pitch at Finch Farm as he works his way back from a calf issue," he said. "Although it's not clear as to whether he was involved in the full session with teammates.

"Fabian Delph can also be seen making a return to the training complex in the latest set of images, although again he doesn't seem to be extensively involved in the full session.

"Meanwhile, long-term absentee Cenk Tosun can also be spotted in some images as he continues to work his way back to full fitness."

Calciomercato reports that rumoured Everton transfer target, Donny Van de Beek is likely to move on from Manchester United in January.

The Blues were believed to have come close to signing the Dutchman on loan in the final days of the summer transfer window but a deal failed to materialise.

Now, it is reported that the 24-year-old's agent, Guido Albers is attempting to arrange a move away as soon as possible.

Everton could remain a destination for the midfielder, however, Inter Milan and Juventus are said to be interested in the Premier League player.

Elsewhere, Portuguese outlet Record claims that Everton scouts were in attendance for Benfica's 4-0 defeat against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.

It is unclear who the scouts were monitoring in particular but the outlet speculates it could give an early indication of the level of talent the Club wishes to sign in the upcoming January window.
