Everton's December Fixtures Moved For Live Television Coverage

The Goodison Park Merseyside derby is among six Everton fixtures moved for television coverage – with the home game against Brighton & Hove Albion also switched to a new date.

Everton will host Liverpool on Wednesday 1 December, the game kicking off at 8.15pm and screened on Amazon Prime video.

The fixture was previously scheduled for 7.45pm on Tuesday 30 December.

Arsenal’s visit to Goodison, originally set for 3pm on Saturday 4 December, is pushed back to Monday 6 December at 8pm and will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Sky Sports are also the broadcasters for Everton’s match at Crystal Palace the following week.

Rafa Benitez had been due to take his team to Selhurst Park on Saturday 11 December at 3pm but that fixture will now kick-off at 4.30pm on Sunday 12 December.

Everton go to Chelsea on Wednesday 15 December, in accordance with the original fixture schedule, but the game at Stamford Bridge will get under way 15 minutes earlier than formerly planned – at 7.45pm – to accommodate BT Sport’s live screening.

The mid-December trip to west London is subject to change, however, with a potential new date dependent on Chelsea's participation in the Club World Cup.

Manager Benitez’s side welcome Leicester City to Goodison at 8pm on Monday 20 December, that match – previously slated for 3pm on Saturday 18 December – will be aired on Sky Sports.

If Leicester advance to the Carabao Cup fifth round, however – they host Brighton & Hove Albion in round four – the match will be given a new slot of midday on Sunday 19 December, with Sky Sports showing any rearranged game.

The Boxing Day fixture at Burnley remains in its 3pm slot and isn’t chosen for television coverage.

Everton return to our screens four days later, however, the home meeting with Newcastle United moved back to Thursday 30 December at 7.30pm for coverage by Amazon Prime video.

Newcastle were previously set to visit L4 at 3pm on Tuesday 28 December.

The change in date for that Newcastle encounter necessitates another fixture shift.

Everton were set to meet Brighton in a 3pm New Year’s Day fixture at Goodison.

That game, however, will now start at 2pm on Sunday 2 January – but won’t be shown live on television.
