Important Information For Fans Attending West Ham Fixture

Evertonians attending Sunday’s Premier League fixture against West Ham United (2pm BST) are reminded that additional COVID spot checks will be in place.

Supporters aged 18 or over should be prepared to present, if asked when entering the stadium, a valid NHS COVID Pass OR valid alternative proof that they have been fully vaccinated (see FAQs) OR proof that they have registered a negative COVID test in the previous 48 hours. For more information about these requirements and matchday spot checks at Goodison Park, click here.

Supporters should not attend Goodison if they have returned a positive COVID-19 test within 10 days of the West Ham fixture, if they have any COVID symptoms – including a high temperature, new continuous cough, or a loss of sense of taste/smell – or if they are required to self-isolate. To read the full Supporter Code of Conduct, click here.

Fans should also bring a face covering to wear when in the stadium, in line with government guidance on gatherings in enclosed places, and should arrive at the stadium in good time.

All payments inside the stadium will be contactless, to speed movement through concourses and minimise contact at all points of sale.

The Fan Zone will not be in use for this fixture. This is in order for the Club to accommodate additional changing room facilities at the Park End of the stadium for visiting teams as part of Premier League protocols to maintain a bubble for players and staff. Additionally, the Sir Philip Carter Park End will only be accessible via Goodison Road and will open for fans from 12.45pm (BST). All other stands will be open 90 minutes before kick-off, from 12.30pm.

A group of foodbank volunteers and their unmissable purple vehicle will be based on the corner of Winslow Street and Goodison Road, next to The Winslow Hotel public house.

The Matchday Hub based at Everton Free School will also not be in operation for the West Ham match, however the Everton Heritage Society will be selling memorabilia upstairs inside St Luke’s Church from 11am until 1.30pm.

Anything else I need to know?

Fans are encouraged to arrive at Goodison early to help with the flow of supporters through the turnstiles and to prevent queues outside the stadium.

The players’ warm-up will begin approximately 45 minutes before kick-off at around 1.15pm, while there will be music played in the stadium and entertainment and fan messages via the stadium screens.

Ahead of the game, there is an opportunity to walk to Goodison as part of a mental health wellbeing group, known as Talkhub.

Jay Deakin, who formed Talkhub, has teamed up with the Everton Fans’ Forum to encourage men over the age of 18 to join a special 2.2 mile ‘Walk and Talk’ from the Bramley-Moore Pub, on Regent Road, to the stadium.

The initiative is aimed at giving men the opportunity to open up about their mental health issues in a safe, welcoming environment.

Participants are encouraged to meet outside the Bramley-Moore Pub, opposite the site of Everton’s new stadium, at 11.30am and make the 45-minute to one-hour walk to Goodison Park. For supporters who wish to show their support and join in the last mile, the group will pass Powerleague Liverpool (the Pitz football pitches) on Whittle Street at approximately 12pm.

Back at Goodison, our official Catering Partner, Sodexo, will have the below 'Early Bird' offers, available up until 30 minutes after the gates open:

- Buy one pint/bottle of Carling lager and receive your second half price
- Buy a standard pie and receive a free hot drink
- Buy a sausage roll and receive a free hot drink or bottle of water (Family Enclosure only)

Please note, all payments inside the stadium will be contactless.
