Andros Townsend has scooped his first Davanti Tyres Everton Goal of the Month award after fans voted his stunning strike against Burnley as the Club's best of September.

The summer signing collected possession 35 yards from goal and drove at the Clarets defence before cutting on to his left foot and unleashing an unstoppable curling shot into the top corner of the Sir Philip Carter Park Stand goal.

The goal - which was also crowned the Premier League Goal of the Month last week - sparked scenes of jubilation on a memorable night at Goodison, as the Toffees hit the front on their way to a rousing 3-1 victory.

Unsurprisingly, Townsend's strike was a clear winner with a whopping 86.3% of the overall vote, while Demarai Gray's strike from the same game (5.3%) and Hanna Bennison's first goal for Everton Women in the victory over Birmingham (3.3%) finished second and third respectively.
