A wealth of transfer speculation has come through over the last 24 hours, we'll begin with a report from TEAMtalk.

The outlet claims that Everton are looking to sign Getafe midfielder John Patrick.

The 18-year-old is in the final year of his contract and could be made available for a reduced price in January, if not on a free transfer in the summer.

The Irish midfielder has earned minutes in the Spanish side's First Team but is more a regular starter in the club's B side.

It is believed the prodigy has attracted the interest of Manchester United, Burnley and Leeds United, who are all monitoring his progress this season.

Remaining in Spain, Real Madrid star Isco looks increasingly likely to leave the European giants in January, with Everton the 'most likely' destination according to Mundo Deportivo.

The news organisation claims the 29-year-old is looking for regular game time and would be open to a reunion with Rafa Benitez with the pair working together during the 2015/16 season.

One player who might be leaving the Blues next summer Allan, who has attracted the interest of Juventus according to journalist Fabio Santini.

It is reported that Aaron Ramsey could depart at the end of the season to pave way for a move for Everton's Brazilian midfielder.

Finally, the Liverpool Echo have interviewed former Everton defender Alan Stubbs on his career and two stints with the Blues.

After a difficult period with Celtic off the field - having went under several periods of treatment for testicular cancer - the move to Everton was one that lifted his spirits.

“There was no sense of inevitability for me going to Everton," Stubbs told the paper. "I’d always hoped and wished it might happen but for a long time I thought that ship had sailed for me and that opportunity had passed, especially with me being linked to them earlier on in my career.

“I just didn’t think it was going to happen, so when it did happen, it was unbelievable for me when I first found out.

“It was just after I’d overcome the second round of my cancer treatment, I was back playing and I’d been offered a new deal at Celtic.

“My agent called me and said ‘Listen, there’s a big club in the North West who are interested.

“For some reason I just didn’t think it might be Everton because I thought that one had gone, so I replied: ‘Who is it? Man United?’

“He laughed and told me: ‘No, somebody bigger to you.’

“I went: ‘Who? Not Everton?’

“He said: ‘Yes, we’re going to speak Walter (Smith).’

“I was like a big kid and was all excited. I discussed things with Walter before heading back to Glasgow see Martin O’Neill who was fantastic about it.”
