Sevecke: We Must Make Winning A Habit Again

Everton defender Rikke Sevecke says the team are aiming to make winning a habit once again after the Blues picked up their first win of the season last weekend.

This afternoon the side travel to face Reading, who are yet to get their first points or goals in the Barclays FA Women's Super League this season.

The Toffees remained unbeaten in the league against the teams who finished below them last season and the Danish defender states the squad are aiming to continue that feat.

"It's an opportunity for us to get that winning feeling again," the 25-year-old told evertontv.

"We need to get that into a habit that we win every weekend.

"It's important to win this game so we can build upon it."

However, Sevecke wasn't under any illusion that Reading won't be a difficult opponent as the hosts will be aiming to get off the mark for the season.

"We've been focusing a lot on ourselves because we want to have the ball and play out [from the back].

"We know Reading have a lot of physical attributes and can be really high with their press sometimes.

"We just need to deal with their press and hopefully we can manage the game on our terms."
