Everton full-backs Lucas Digne and Seamus Coleman both played the full 90 minutes as France and the Republic of Ireland played out World Cup qualifying draws on Saturday.
Digne’s France drew 1-1 with Ukraine in a Group D encounter in Kiev.
Ukraine went into a shock lead against the world champions when Mykola Shaparenko netted on 44 minutes.
And while Anthony Martial levelled for Les Bleus shortly after half-time, France could not find a winner.
Next up for Didier Deschamps’ team is a Group D clash with Finland in Lyon on Tuesday.
Coleman, meanwhile, featured in the Republic of Ireland’s 1-1 draw with Azerbaijan in Dublin.
The Everton captain, who also skippers his country, won his 61st international cap in the Group A game.
Ireland created a host of chances during the game but required an 87th-minute header from former Blues defender Shane Duffy to rescue a point.
The home team had fallen behind to Emin Mahmudov's strike on the stroke of half-time.
Ireland return to action on Tuesday when Serbia visit Aviva Stadium for another World Cup qualifier.
