Sky Sports News reports that Everton are interested in French striker Odsonne Edouard.

The Celtic forward could make the switch to Goodison Park before next week's deadline with the Blues said to have "sounded out" the 23-year-old as a target.

It is also believed that Everton would meet his wage demands of £80,000 a week.

However, the Club may face competition for his signature with Russian side Rubin Kazan reportedly submitting a £15.4million bid for the Celtic man. It is believed Celtic are yet to respond to this offer.

Staying with Sky Sports News, their sources claim Everton are in for Arsenal full-back Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

The full-back spent the second half of last season on loan at West Brom with the Blues keen to sign the England international on loan. 

It is believed Everton have put an increased price tag on striker Richarlison amid interest from European clubs, according to Brazilian outlet UOL.

The outlet claims that the asking price is in the region of £102million.

Rafa Benitez is "99.9-per-cent" sure that Richarlison will remain an Everton player on the Wednesday 1 September.
