Everton Under-23 player Nathangelo Markelo has completed a permanent transfer to PSV Eindhoven and will link up with the Dutch club’s Under-23 team, managed by Ruud van Nistelrooy.

The versatile Markelo, 22, joined Everton from FC Volendam in Holland in the summer of 2017.

He featured regularly for manager David Unsworth’s Everton Under-23s in his opening three seasons with the Club, winning a Premier League 2 and Premier League Cup double in 2018/19.

Markelo, capped twice by Holland at Under-21 level, spent last season on loan with FC Twente in the Dutch top-flight.
