South American network TNT Sports claims that Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira has turned down an offer from Everton.

The 25-year-old instead reportedly prefers a move to his native Brazil as a loan switch to Flamengo a potential destination.

The decision to return to Brazil is believed to be in an effort to break into the national side.

Everton are in advanced discussions with Royal Antwerp over the signing of Aurelio Buta, according to journalist Rudy Galetti.
