Do I need to take a test to attend a match?

The Club strongly encourages all fans aged 12 or over attending fixtures to take a lateral flow test no more than 48 hours before the fixture to maintain safety and protect fellow matchgoers.

Do children need to take a test?

Children aged 12 or older are strongly encouraged to take a lateral flow test no more than 48 hours before the fixture to maintain safety and protect fellow matchgoers.

Do I need to have a negative PCR test to attend the game?

Fans do not need to take a PCR test before attending Goodison Park.

If I have proof of a double vaccination via the NHS app or a print-out via the gov.uk website, do I need to take a test?

Fans who have been double vaccinated do not need to take a lateral flow test.

Will everybody attending the game have to present proof of double vaccination or a lateral flow test result?

Not all fans will be asked to provide evidence of a double vaccination or a negative lateral flow test result. There will be spot checks taking place around the ground and all fans aged 12 or over are encouraged to bring with them proof of a negative lateral flow test no more than 48 hours before the kick-off of the fixture or be able to present proof of double vaccination via the NHS app.

How do I get a lateral flow test pack?

Lateral flow tests are free and available via the gov.uk website. You can order them online here: https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests

How do I prove I’ve been double vaccinated?

Full details of how to demonstrate proof of double vaccination with an NHS Covid Pass are available here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/covid-pass/

I cannot get the NHS app on my phone. Will I be able to bring my vaccination card showing my vaccination status?

No, vaccination cards cannot be accepted. People who have been double vaccinated can request a COVID Pass letter from their GP, if necessary, but fans are encouraged to use this website ://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/covid-pass/

What if there is no signal at the Stadium, how do I show my vaccination status on my phone?

You don't need connectivity to show vaccine status. Your vaccine pass can be saved into your Apple Wallet or Google Pay wallet in advance of attending the game and presented without the need for connectivity at the ground.

Do I have to wear a mask at the ground?

Fans are strongly encouraged to bring a face covering to wear when in the stadium, in line with Government guidance on gatherings in enclosed places.

If I have tested positive for COVID-19, what should I do?

If you have returned a positive COVID-19 test within 10 days of the date of a fixture, you must not attend.

If I have come into contact with somebody who has tested positive, can I attend the game?

If you have come into contact with somebody who has tested positive, you should self-isolate in accordance with Government guidelines and should not attend the fixture.

If I am feeling unwell, can I come to the game?

If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, including a high temperature, a new continuous cough or a los of taste or smell you should not attend the fixture.

Can I use cash in the stadium?

No, all concourse retail units, including food and beverage sales points and programme sellers, will only accept contactless payments in order to minimise contact with surfaces and people and to speed the flow of people through concourse areas. All hospitality lounges will also be contactless payment.

What should I do if I feel ill at the game?

If you feel ill or develop COVID-19 symptoms while at the match, please contact your nearest steward who will arrange contact with medical services.

Will the Club use my details for test and trace?

As a condition of purchasing or being allocated a ticket for a game, you will need to provide your contact details (and those of other members of your party) to support and assist NHS Test and Trace. This information will be kept securely for 21 days before disposal.

Will the Club’s resale platform be live for the Southampton game?

The late clarification received by the Club relating to matchday protocols, safety requirements and capacity has led to a significantly reduced sales window for the opening fixture. As a result, the new resale platform will not be live for the Southampton fixture - but will be activated for the first time for the fixture against Burnley.

How do I use my digital Season Ticket at Goodison?

Supporters will be able to store their Season Ticket – and the Season Tickets of others in their party – using either Apple Wallet or Google Pay on their device.

The process, which is almost identical to purchasing goods with a contactless bank card, is a simple one.

This digital solution will support our commitment to the environment through the Everton for Change initiative.

Watch the video here - and find our six-step guide below.

1. You will receive an email from us this week, containing a link to download your Season Ticket.

Please ensure we have up-to-date contact details for you on our system. If you need to update your email address, log into your evertonfc.com account and head to the 'Personal Details' tab.

2. Use the mobile phone you intend to use on matchday and click the link on the email. Follow the on-screen instructions to download your Season Ticket to your Apple Wallet (for Apple devices) or Google Pay (for Android devices).

Important: Your ticket MUST be downloaded into your wallet (Apple) or Google Pay (Android) in order to work with the entry system at Goodison. A screenshot of your digital ticket or the email confirming your digital ticket WILL NOT allow you access to the stadium.

3. Multiple Season Tickets can be downloaded to one device, if you wish. To do so, simply repeat step two.

3b. Android only – if you have an Apple device, skip to step 4. If you have an Android device, ensure NFC – the technology behind contactless entry – is switched on. To do so, simply head to Google Pay, then Settings, then Contactless setup. Here, make sure NFC is switched on and Google Pay is set as your default payment.

4. Your ticket is now loaded for the 2021/22 season. Don't forget to charge your phone before heading to Goodison Park.

5. Once at the stadium, open Apple Wallet or Google Pay on your phone before joining the queue for the turnstiles. Ensure you do not have any bank or other contactless cards at the back of your phone case.

If you have multiple Season Tickets on one device, simply swipe left and right to switch between tickets.

6. To gain access, simply hold your phone close to the contactless reader on top of the turnstile. If you have multiple tickets on one device, remember to scan them at the turnstile one at a time.

The light will turn green for a valid Adult ticket and amber for Concessions or Junior tickets. If the light turns red, or you are unable to enter, a steward will be designated to each turnstile to help with any issues.

How do I use my digital Season Ticket at the turnstile?

If the digital Season Ticket is not in Apple wallet or Google Pay (Gpay), then it will not work.

Once installed, you simply need to place your phone on top of the reader (on the contactless sign). The light should turn green - or amber for concessions - and you will be able to enter through the turnstile.

Some fans will have a barcode or QR code on their digital Season Ticket (Android users without NFC functionality on their device). In this instance, scan the barcode or QR code in the reader and do not tap it on the contactless sensor.

If your ticket is not in either Apple Wallet or Gpay, please delete the ticket from the wallet app it is in and then follow the link from the most recent email the club sent them with a download link. After clicking this link, it should open into GPay and the ticket should appear. Please ensure you have Google Pay installed on your Android device - and have NFC switched on.

If the most recent link does not open Google Pay for Android users, open or download Google Chrome on your phone and then copy and paste the link to download tickets into the Google Chrome browser window. This should then automatically drop the ticket into GPay. If these steps still do not work, please visit the Goodison Road Box Office as early as possible on matchday with your customer number and photo ID in order to receive a paper ticket for the fixture.

For those fans with a number of Season Tickets on the one phone, place your phone on the card reader and, when it turns green, admit each member of your party one at a time, before entering yourself with the last ticket.

I have a plastic Season Ticket card. How will that work?

This should work as they did last season.

Supporters can tap or place their cards on top of the reader (on the contactless sign) and it should turn green - or amber for concessions - to grant entry.

If it turns red, it means the card is invalid and you will need to go to the Fan Centre or check to ensure you have entered via the correct turnstile.

Advice for print at home or downloaded digital match tickets

These tickets will have a barcode or QR code and be either paper or on someone’s phone.

They will need to put the barcode / QR code into the reader which should turn green - or amber for concessions - to allow entry.

If it turns red, it means the card is invalid and you will need to go to the Fan Centre or check to ensure you have entered via the correct turnstile.

I am travelling to the game from overseas - how do I present my vaccination passport?

Fans from other nations should be prepared to present proof of vaccination from their national care provider.
