Four Everton Changes For Pumas Clash

Demarai Gray will start a match in an Everton shirt for the first time when Everton meet Mexican team Pumas in Orlando on Wednesday night.

Manager Rafael Benitez has made four changes in all from the side which began the Florida Cup victory over Millonarios three days ago.

Michael Keane starts at centre-half and there is a double midfield change, with Andre Gomes and Tom Davies in for Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Seamus Coleman captains the team on the day he signed a contract committing the right-back to the Club until at least the end of 2022/23.

Lucas Digne is at left-back and Keane partners Ben Godfrey in the middle of defence.

Asmir Begovic, who enjoyed an eventful first Everton appearance in the Millonarios game, continues in goal.

Davies and Gomes are flanked by Andros Townsend, playing his second game for Everton, and Alex Iwobi, whose 73 minutes on the field on Sunday was joint-longest – with Godfrey – of Benitez’s outfield players.

Gray, the former Leicester City attacker who joined from Bayer Leverkusen last week, is set for a role supporting Moise Kean up front.
