The Daily Mail believe Everton's rumoured pursuit of Sassuolo's Jeremie Boga has gained momentum following a bid from Atalanta.

The Italian side reportedly made a first bid of £15.5million which was rejected by Sassuolo.

However, they newspaper claims the Club must act quickly should they look to land the midfielder with Atalanta lining up a second bid according to their source.

Leeds United and Crystal Palace are also rumoured to be interested in the Frenchman who made 28 appearances last season, scoring four times.

The Liverpool Echo claims that the Club are in the process of obtaining a work permit for Dutch defender Luuk Kluiters.

The 18-year-old visited USM Finch Farm for a trial their source believes, but a degree of "uncertainty" remains if a deal can be concluded due to the complications of player registrations following Brexit.

Staying with the Echo, the newspaper writes that Demarai Gray is undergoing his medical before a proposed move to Everton.

The 25-year-old joined Bayer Leverkusen at the beginning of 2021 and would become the Blues' third signing of the summer and second winger to join the Club following the arrival of Andros Townsend
