Everton have received a setback in their rumoured pursuit of Bayern Munich forward Joshua Zirkzee.

The Blues were reportedly keen on acquiring the services of the 20-year-old in January but he opted for a six-month loan spell with Parma in Italy.

Sky Deutschland reports the Dutchman is pushing for the Bayern Munich exit door but his preference is to remain in Germany, with his agent involved in ongoing discussions with 'several Bundesliga clubs'.

Portuguese newspaper O Jogo claims the Blues are competing with West Ham United for the signature of Benfica's Haris Seferovic.

The outlet believes both clubs have been in touch with the Swiss striker's representatives, with a rumoured asking price of €25million.

The agent of James Rodriguez is in Italy this week to negotiate a move to the Serie A, according to journalist Rudy Galetti.

Jorge Mendes has reportedly opened discussions with AC Milan regarding the Colombian.

However, Galetti reveals that AC Milan's Rafael Leao is one of Mendes' clients and could be visiting to discuss his future as well.

Football journalist Fabrizio Romano states the decision for Moise Kean to return to Paris Saint-Germain sits with new Everton manager Rafa Benitez.

The Italian journalist provided an update on Twitter.

"PSG have been working for months to sign Moise Kean on loan – they’re waiting for Benitez and Everton final decision," he wrote.
