The Daily Mail claims Everton are ready to hijack Arsenal's pursuit of defender Ben White.

The Brighton player has been linked with a move to north London, with two bids from the Gunners having reportedly been rejected by the Seagulls.

It is believed the asking price for the England international is £50million with Arsenal's bids falling under that number.

However, it is said that Everton are ready to meet that valuation and offer White a four-year contract with the Blues.

Football journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Moise Kean will return to Paris Saint-Germain on loan for a second season.

The Italian forward spent the 2020/21 season with the French side.

Romano believes the deal will include an option for the Ligue 1 club to make the move permanent next summer.

The Liverpool Echo draws quotes from England's press conference where Jordan Pickford praised his Club teammate, Robin Olsen.

The Swedish goalkeeper spent last season on loan at Goodison Park and his English counterpart credited him for helping him through last season.

“Robin came into the Club at Everton last season to push me on and it’s always better when there’s competition there for you,” Pickford told the media.

"The more competition, the more you want to prove them wrong and get better and better.

“Unfortunately I had a couple of little niggles and injuries, so that gave me an added break, really, which I didn’t want but I had to do it.

“And then I came back and I was flying and I felt in a good place and just carried that into the England set-up.”
