Richarlison came on as a 78th-minute substitute as Brazil completed their Copa America Group B campaign with a 1-1 draw against Ecuador in Goiania on Sunday night.
Already assured of top spot and progression to the last eight of the competition, manager Tite fielded a much-changed lineup for the tournament hosts, with Everton forward Richarlison given a breather after starting in all three of Brazil's previous three victories.
The defending champions took a first-half lead when Eder Militao headed home Everton Soares' free-kick for his first international goal.
But Angel Mena rifled home from former Blues forward Enner Valencia's flick-on to equalise eight minutes after the break and end Brazil's 10-match winning run.
The result meant Yerry Mina's Colombia finished third in Group B, with Peru and Ecuador also making the quarter-finals.
The nations will discover their opponents in the first knockout stage when Group A is completed on Monday night.
