Daily Mail journalist Dominic King believes Rafa Benitez is 'expecting to receive a formal offer' from Everton for the vacant managerial position.

Everton's Majority Shareholder Farhad Moshiri has been leading talks with candidates, according to the reporter. 

Sky Sports correspondent Alan Myers claims talks have been held between Everton and Benitez but he has not been offered the job at this stage.

The Guardian reporter Ed Aarons says there is more than one Premier League club interested in manager Lucien Favre. 

The Swiss boss left Borussia Dortmund in December 2020 and is currently without a club. 

The journalist confirmed Crystal Palace as one of the believed clubs interested in the 63-year-old. 

Everton and Tottenham Hotspur are the only other Premier League sides with managerial vacancies. 

Portuguese newspaper A Bola reports the Blues have reached an agreement with Sporting Lisbon for midfielder Matheus Nunes. 

The deal is reportedly worth up to £15million for the 22-year-old, with an announcement imminent according to their source. 

Dutch outlet ED says football agent Mino Raiola is set to have talks with Everton regarding his client Denzel Dumfries. 

The Club are reportedly in the driving seat to secure the PSV Eindhoven captain's signature. However, Inter Milan are also interested.
