The Toffees created most of the best chances of the game and came close to scoring a dramatic late winner when Dominic Calvert-Lewin headed at goal from close range - only for Emiliano Martinez to make a splendid stop. Everton were forced to settle for a point but remain firmly in contention for a European spot.
