To coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week from 10-16 May, Everton Academy graduate Davies outlines the importance of communication in overcoming poor mental health and why he believes men in particular can struggle to express their feelings.

He also reflects on the strong bond he has formed with Everton in the Community participant Ryan, who has suffered with depression. Davies describes his joy in seeing Ryan "become the person he really is" after seeking help and opening up about the issues he was contending with.

Davies also urges people to regularly check in with friends and family to support their mental wellbeing, especially during these challenging times.
