Abdoulaye Doucoure has stepped up his rehabilitation from a foot injury after returning to individual outdoor training at USM Finch Farm.

The Everton midfielder has been out of action since coming off in the second half of the Blues' 1-0 win at West Bromwich Albion on 4 March.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti has been hopeful of seeing Doucoure back in his side before the end of the season, and the 28-year-old's chances were given a boost this week when he continued his recovery with outdoor sessions at the Club's training base.

Doucoure, who joined Everton from Watford last summer, went through individual work with Everton's medical team before sharing a joke with boss Ancelotti. The Frenchman has played 30 games in his maiden campaign with the Blues, scoring three goals.
