Everton Boss Kirk Explains Graham Absence After Hammers Draw

Everton manager Willie Kirk conceded his team deserved no more than the single point they claimed from a stalemate at West Ham United on Sunday.

The home side fought tooth and nail to take something from the contest with their Women’s Super League status on the line.

Everton’s clearest sights of goal came for Nicoline Sorensen after manager Kirk switched the Dane’s position to try to engineer a winner.

Midfielder Lucy Graham sat out the match in east London after sustaining a blow to her knee in training on Saturday.

Kirk, whose team were watched at West Ham by Everton majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri, is optimistic over the Scot’s chances of recovering in time for a WSL visit from Arsenal next Sunday.
