ON DEMAND: Everton Under-23s Draw With Brighton

Nathan Broadhead scored his 10th goal of the season but Everton Under-23s were held to a Premier League 2 draw by Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.

Welsh forward Broadhead converted from the spot one minute before half-time after Josh Bowler was impeded in the box by Albion defender Ed Turns.

Bowler earlier came close with a shot from 20 yards that flew marginally too high.

And the visitors drew level seven minutes after the restart, French striker Ulrick Ella engineering space to take aim and find the top corner.

Everton goalkeeper Harry Tyrer stopped subsequent efforts from Turns, Danny Cashman and Marc Leonard, while Broadhead was over with a free-kick for the hosts.

The point leaves Everton in eighth position with two games remaining.
