Everton Youth Cup Quarter-Final Date Confirmed

Everton Under-18s will continue their bid for FA Youth Cup glory with a quarter-final visit to West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday 27 April (7pm).

Manager Paul Tait's side stunned last season's beaten finalists Chelsea to reach the last eight, scoring late to win 2-1, after seeing off 2019/20 winners Manchester City in similarly dramatic fashion in round four.

Everton began their cup run by overturning a 2-0 deficit to defeat Wigan Athletic 4-2 in last month's third round.

The meeting with West Brom will be staged at the Premier League club's Hawthorns home.

Everton last claimed the trophy in 1998 when a side featuring future First-Team players Leon Osman, Richard Dunne and Francis Jeffers overcame Blackburn Rovers in a two-legged final.
