WATCH: Pattinson On First Everton Goal And Blues' Wembley Target

Watch Poppy Pattinson reflect on scoring her maiden Everton goal in the Blues’ 2-1 FA Cup victory over Durham on Sunday in the video below or here!

Full-back Pattinson, who joined Everton from Sunderland last summer, prodded home the Toffees’ leveller on 50 minutes after Molly Sharpe had put Durham ahead at Walton Hall Park. Everton substitute Nicoline Sorensen then scored a stoppage-time winner as Everton booked a fifth-round meeting at Chelsea.

Speaking post-match to evertontv, England Under-21 international Pattinson revealed her emotions upon netting for the first time in an Everton shirt – and declared the Blues’ hunger to go all the way in the FA Cup following last year’s final appearance.

“It was amazing to score my first Everton goal get the team back in the game,” she said.

“Credit to Durham, they put in a good performance, but we showed our resilience to break them down. It was really important to give it everything to the very end.

“It’s great to get the win and go through to the next round. We want to get back to the final at Wembley as soon as possible and we want to win the cup this time.

“Of course, it’s a tough draw against Chelsea. But we’ve beaten them before [in last year’s FA Cup quarter-final] and we’ll give it our all.”
