La Voix Du Nord, the French website, states Everton are keen on 17-year-old defender Ismael Doukoure from Valenciennes.

The centre-back is emerging as a key figure for his Ligue 2 club following a senior debut back in October and has played 20 games.

Everton are listed, along with Premier League rivals Arsenal and Leicester City, and European heavyweights, AC Milan, Roma and Barcelona, as likely suitors for a player described by the website as a “young phenomenon”.

AC Milan are also tipped to move for Everton striker Moise Kean.

MilanLive suggests a string of clubs want to take Kean back to Serie A, where he played for Juventus before joining Everton in the summer of 2019.

Kean is on loan with Paris Saint-Germain and, were he to leave Goodison Park permanently, would fetch €50m, according to the report.

Inter Milan, Roma and ex-club Juventus are all credited with an interest.

Italian outlet Tuttosport resuscitates rumours over a potential Everton bid for Torino’s Italy international centre-forward Andrea Belotti.

Belotti, capped 32 times by his country, has 12 goals in 26 games for Torino this term.

He joined from fellow Italians Palermo six years ago and has only one season remaining on his contract in Turin.

“Several clubs have set their sights on him,” reports Tuttosport, indicating Everton will face competition for the 27-year-old from AC Milan, Roma and Napoli, in addition to Spaniards Atletico Madrid.

Spanish website Fichajes.net reckons Real Betis boss Manuel Pellegrini is asking his club to swoop for Everton forward Bernard.

Brazilian Bernard has played 81 games since coming from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer of 2018.

A transfer for Bernard is conditional on Real Betis, currently sixth in La Liga, qualifying for European football, says the report, which reckons Everton would ask for €12m.

Everton Under-23 boss David Unsworth has told the Liverpool Echo that Everton hope to extend the contract of Kyle John, the 20-year-old regularly featuring in manager Carlo Ancelotti’s matchday squads.

Full-back John delivered his latest accomplished display in the Under-23s’ victory over Blackburn Rovers on Friday.

The player joined Everton aged six and his current deal expires in June this year.

“We want to keep him,” said Unsworth.

“He's a great kid, with great pace, and I'm sure at some point next season we will look to give him the experience of going out on loan.

"We would need to find the right club, at the right time, but it was another great performance [against Blackburn]."

Football Insider, meanwhile, reckons Galatasaray are readying a move for Joshua King.

Forward King has made eight appearances – all from the bench – since coming to Goodison in January.

And it is claimed the Turks are poised with “a huge contract to entice him overseas” at the conclusion of this season.
