McFadden The Guest For This Week's Fan Friday Event

This week’s Blue Family Fan Friday guest is James McFadden.

The former Scotland international joined Everton from Motherwell in the summer of 2003 and later in his career had a second spell at the club on a short-term contract following three years at Birmingham City.

Over those two stints, 'Faddy' played 147 games for the Toffees and scored 18 goals, including the 2006/07 Goal of the Season effort against Charlton Athletic at Goodison.

During his spell at the Club he was a mainstay of the Scotland international side and will always be remembered for a stunning winning goal against France in the Parc de Princes in September 2007.

Since hanging up his boots, McFadden has coached at Motherwell and also with Scotland.

Don’t miss the live stream of McFadden's Blue Family Fan Friday conversation with regular host Darren Griffiths at 6pm (BST), this Friday, 9 April.

The deadline to register for the event by filling out the form below is Friday, 2pm (BST).

Supporters unable to join the event will be able to watch on demand via our official Facebook page from later on Friday evening.

Last week’s Blue Family Fan Friday guest was John Heitinga.

The Dutchman was his usual effervescent self and, amongst other topics, he spoke about joining Everton from Atletico Madrid, barging Ashley Cole during a penalty shoot-out, and how a confession to David Moyes led to him being taken off free-kicks during Everton games!
