Everton youth striker Katia Kouyate has undergone a successful operation to repair a damaged hamstring tendon.
The 17-year-old Academy product, who has featured for both the Under-18s and Under-23s this season, is now recovering and will continue to work alongside Club medical staff throughout his rehabilitation.
Kouyate was handed his Everton Under-23s debut in a 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers in November last year and has gone on to make a further three appearances for David Unsworth's side.
