The Fans’ Forum meets with the Club monthly - one of the few fan forums in the country to continue to do so virtually during lockdown - acting as a touchpoint between the Club and the wider fanbase, to deliver feedback and test ideas.

In addition to any ad-hoc business, the Forum also has six ongoing project groups, with a new stadium-specific group planned for the Club’s proposed new home at Bramley-Moore Dock.

For the past year, the Fans’ Forum has continued to play an active role in representing supporter views and were consulted on the plans for the safe return of fans, including attending Supporter Safety meetings and a site visit to Goodison Park. The group has provided input to the Club’s 2020/21 Season Ticket options and refund processes, including the option to donate to Everton in the Community, which saw fans raise more than £400,000 for the Club and charity’s Blue Family campaign.

Meanwhile, the Forum’s Stadium Atmosphere Group gathered feedback from fans on the design of the seat coverings for behind closed doors games, while, pre-pandemic, the Catering Group worked with Club catering partner Sodexo to discuss the food and beverage offering, which led to the launch of vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal options within Goodison. The group also advocated the use of local suppliers and promoted the agreement between Sodexo and Homebaked, which will resume once a Fan Zone is in full operation on matchdays.

The Communications Project Group led on the launch of the Fans’ Forum podcast and becoming affiliated members of the Football Supporters' Association (FSA), while the Events Group supported the Fan of the Year vote, determining Lewis Docherty as the winner for 2020.

For the past year, the Fans’ Forum has also had international representation, with the International Project Group conducting an independent survey for supporters to help strengthen engagement worldwide and produce key findings, as well as supporting the Blue Family campaign internationally. The Retail Group has met with representatives of Everton’s technical and retail partners hummel and Fanatics and hold regular meetings with senior members of the Club’s partnerships team.

EMOTIONAL MOMENT EVERTON SKIPPER COLEMAN STUNNED FAN OF THE YEAR LEWIS

Avid Evertonian Lewis received record number of nominations from fellow Blues.

Jazz Bal, Chair of the Everton Fans’ Forum, said: "I feel that the Everton Fans' Forum works well as the membership is so diverse, which directly reflects the nature of our fanbase. We currently have several formal project groups, but we also have the flexibility to proactively champion other areas or react to them as they are raised. On the back of the recent planning news, we will be looking to start a stadium project group when new members join in June. This will be key in continuing the dialogue in terms of pricing, the seat allocation process, facilities on offer and other factors which will be important to Blues.

“If you are interested in representing Evertonians, can afford to volunteer your time, feel that you have something to offer, and would like the opportunity to input into projects that impact the future of our Club, please consider applying. It’s an exciting time to be an Evertonian!”

The recruitment for new members has been realigned with the football season, meaning that the application period will be open between 9am on Friday 2 April and 11.59pm on Sunday 18 April, with interviews for shortlisted candidates taking place from late April, followed by a supporters’ vote at the end of May.

The Fans’ Forum is committed to equal opportunities, being fully representative of the Everton fanbase and will provide a fully inclusive recruitment process.

If you are interested in applying to become a member of the Everton Fans' Forum, please fill out the form above or by clicking here.

Should there be a need for application documents to be provided in a different format or any further support or assistance is required, please contact a member of the Forum via email on members@evertonfansforum.com or contact the Club’s Fan Centre on 0151 556 1878.
