Everton duo Sandy MacIver and Jill Scott have been named in the England squad for the Lionesses’ upcoming friendly internationals against France and Canada.
Goalkeeper MacIver, who has recently signed a new two-year contract with Everton, made her senior England debut in their 6-0 victory over Northern Ireland last month.
That game also saw Scott make her 150th Lionesses appearance. The midfielder, who is on loan at Everton from Manchester City, is the second-most capped player in England Women’s history, behind only Fara Williams.
England interim head coach Hege Riise has selected a 24-player squad for the international camp.
The squad will meet up at their St. George’s Park training base on Sunday 4 April before facing France in Caen on Friday 9 April.
The Lionesses then take on Canada at Stoke City’s bet365 Stadium on Tuesday 13 April.
2 games. 24 players.
