Scott Hits England Milestone As MacIver Earns First Cap

Jill Scott made her 150th international appearance as Everton teammate Sandy MacIver earned a first cap in England's 6-0 friendly victory over Simone Magill's Northern Ireland at St George's Park on Tuesday.

Scott, currently on loan with the Blues from Manchester City, started in midfield for interim manager Hege Riise's first game in charge, having made her Lionesses bow back in August 2006.

The 34-year-old is second on the all-time England Women appearances' list, behind only Fara Williams on 172 caps.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper MacIver now has her first cap after coming on for Ellie Roebuck just after the hour mark during England's comprehensive victory.

Blues striker Magill played the full game for Northern Ireland as the hosts triumphed courtesy of an Ellen White hat-trick - her third goal assisted by Scott - and goals from Lucy Bronze, Rachel Daly and an Ella Toone penalty.
