Friday’s Daily Mail claims Everton will ask for £70m from any club wanting Moise Kean this summer.

Everton striker Kean is on loan with Paris Saint-Germain until the end of 2020/21 and has scored 14 goals in 25 games for the French champions.

The Mail cites Italian transfer insider Fabrizio Romano as the source of stories around Everton’s valuation of Kean.

Calciomercato in Italy, meanwhile, features quotes from Kean, who was asked about a potential permanent switch to Juventus, the club he left for Everton in the summer of 2019.

“In Paris I’m doing very well, we are a magnificent group, everyone welcomed me well, the staff followed me every day to improve me 100 per cent,” said Kean.

“Juventus will always be in the heart… I will never forget it. I always watch matches.”

Elsewhere in the Daily Mail, Everton are named in connection with Wilfried Zaha, the Crystal Palace forward who has admitted he is open to a transfer from Selhurst Park.

Zaha told the Financial Times Business of Football summit: “I will always give 150 per cent to Crystal Palace but I'll always be ambitious. If there are opportunities I will have a look at them.

“I want to play at the highest level and win trophies to show my kids.”

The Mail’s report suggests Everton and Arsenal were formerly “heavily interested” in Zaha and could reignite their respective interests in the 28-year-old.

Italian publication il BiancoNero, which specialises in Juventus news, says Everton have spoken with the agent of Adrien Rabiot.

Juventus midfielder Rabiot is keen to reunite with his old Paris Saint-Germain boss, Carlo Ancelotti, according to the report, which adds Everton are unwilling to meet the Turin club’s €30m asking price for the player.

Turkish outlet Fanatik tips Everton to move for Cyle Larin, the Canadian forward playing with Istanbul club Besiktas.

Larin, who joined Besiktas from Orlando City in January 2018, has 15 goals in 28 matches this season.

Fanatik reckons Everton could offer Cenk Tosun, currently on loan with Besiktas from Everton, in exchange for 25-year-old Larin.

Everton’s Norway international forward Joshua King explained to TV 2 in his homeland why he chose a short-term Goodison Park contract over Fulham’s four-year offer this month.

“All the guarantees I can get from Everton are based on what I do on the pitch over the next few months,” said King, who joined from Bournemouth on a deal until the end of 2020/21.

“I’ve put a lot of pressure on myself, but at the same time I have the confidence to have the belief that this is going to be able to happen.

“I want to show that I’m not done. I have a dream that I will try to achieve. I had the choice of a long-term contract at Fulham, but then I had to fight to avoid relegation with the club. Or I could fight for games in Europe with Everton, which I’ve dreamed of all my career.

“So, after all, the choice wasn’t really that difficult, but I have a lot to prove in a short time here at Everton leading up to the summer.”

Former Everton coach Dennis Lawrence has been speaking to The Athletic about Tom Davies.

Midfielder Davies, 22, is flourishing under Everton manager Ancelotti and started eight of the past 10 Premier League games.

“The first thing you need to understand about him is that he is genuinely passionate about the club because he grew up as a supporter before he was ever a player,” said Lawrence, who was with Everton for three years from 2013.

““That’s not a cliche — with Tom you could see it.

“You could never question his passion or commitment, even at such a young age.

“He was level-headed, conducted himself well and, although he was quite shy, he got on with everyone; even the older, more experienced lads.”
