Gabby George is back in action after nearly a year out with an anterior cruciate ligament injury - and the Everton defender has given her first interview since returning to Willie Kirk's squad.

The 24-year-old was named on the bench for last weekend's 1-1 WSL draw against Birmingham City at Walton Hall Park and is bidding for game-time when the Blues visit Reading on Sunday (2pm GMT).

George sat down with evertontv to discuss her gratitude to Everton - including the Club's medical team - for supporting her throughout her rehabilitation, and also spoke of her excitement to be part of Everton's ambitious future and her plans to get back into the England fold.
