Everton Boss Delivers Team News Update

Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed Jordan Pickford will be unavailable for Everton's clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday (8pm GMT).

Pickford missed the Blues' 2-1 win at Leeds United on Wednesday with an abdominal problem.

Robin Olsen will again start for Everton following an impressive display at Elland Road.

Ancelotti added Allan is back in training but is not yet ready for a return to First-Team action. The Brazilian midfielder has been sidelined since sustaining a hamstring injury in the Blues' 2-0 win at Leicester City on 16 December.

Everton's only other absentee is Jean-Philippe Gbamin. The Ivory Coast midfielder is following his rehabilitation programme as he continues his recovery from an Achilles injury.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference at USM Finch Farm, Ancelotti said: "We have Jordan Pickford out for this game.

"He has not recovered yet.

"Allan is out, but he started training with the team today [Friday].

"Jean-Philippe Gbamin is still following his individual programme.

"It is too early to say when he will be back."
