Everton Boss Delivers Team News Update

Carlo Ancelotti has revealed Jordan Pickford will miss Everton's clash at Leeds United on Wednesday night (7.30pm GMT) with an abdominal injury.

The Italian, who confirmed Robin Olsen will play against Leeds, added he is hopeful Pickford will be fit for Saturday's trip to Manchester United.

Midfielder Fabian Delph will be in contention to face his former club Leeds after recovering from a hamstring problem.

Allan (hamstring) and Jean-Philippe Gbamin (Achilles) will not be available for the Elland Road contest, however.

Speaking at his pre match press conference, Ancelotti said: "Fabian Delph is back in the squad. Allan and Jean-Philippe Gbamin are not available yet.

"Jordan Pickford will also be out. Robin Olsen will start the game.

"I think it [Pickford's injury] happened when he made a save towards the end of the game against Newcastle.

"I think he touched the post and he had a problem on his rib.

"He will not be available for the game but I hope for Saturday [against Manchester United] he will be available."
