Everton Boss Gives Injury Updates On Digne And Iwobi

Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed Lucas Digne and Alex Iwobi are fit and available for Wednesday's Premier League clash against Leicester City at Goodison Park (8.15pm GMT).

The Blues duo missed Sunday's FA Cup fourth-round victory over Sheffield Wednesday but both will return to the squad for the visit of the in-form Foxes as Everton bid for victory that would see them close the gap on Brendan Rodgers' third-placed side to three points with two games in hand.

Ancelotti remains without Allan, Fabian Delph (both hamstring injuries), Jean-Philippe Gbamin (Achilles) and Niels Nkounkou, while Abdoulaye Doucoure serves a one-match suspension after picking up a fifth yellow card of the season in the 2-1 win at Wolves.

Delph is back training with the First Team, while Ancelotti revealed he expects to have Allan, Gbamin and Nkounkou following suit in the near future.

The Blues boss said: "We have Digne and Iwobi back, and we have out Delph, Allan, Gbamin and Nkounkou. The others are all good.

"We don't have a lot of injuries at this moment because Delph has started to train with us, so practically he is back. We have only Allan, Gbamin and Nkounkou that can recover soon.

"The squad are all in good condition."
