Ancelotti Reveals Everton Team For Owls Cup Tie

Dominic Calvert-Lewin returns to Everton’s starting XI as Carlo Ancelotti makes five changes for Sunday’s FA Cup fourth round clash with Sheffield Wednesday.

Thierry Small is named on the bench and, aged 16 years and 176 days, the left-back would surpass Jose Baxter as Everton’s youngest player should he get on the field.

Richarlison, Seamus Coleman, Andre Gomes and Robin Olsen come into the side after missing out on starts at Wolverhampton Wanderers 12 days ago.

Keeper Olsen plays behind a backline comprised of Coleman, who captains Everton, Ben Godfrey, continuing at left-back, and centre-halves Yerry Mina and Mason Holgate.

Gomes partners Abdoulaye Doucoure in the centre of midfield, with Everton’s wide positions likely to be occupied by Richarlison and James Rodriguez.

Gylfi Sigurdsson is poised to support Calvert-Lewin in attack.

Small is joined on the bench by another teenager in the shape of 17-year-old midfielder Tyler Onyango.

Manager Ancelotti also has Bernard, Tom Davies, Michael Keane, Anthony Gordon and Jonjoe Kenny in reserve.

Goalkeepers Jordan Pickford and Jonas Lossl complete Everton’s nine-strong complement of substitutes.
