Favourite city?
It’s got to be my home city, Sydney. It’s got beautiful weather and there’s so much to do. The people are really nice there, too.

What other sports did you play as a kid?
I was pretty good at cricket. I played until I was about 13 or 14, but then I had to stop as football became a priority. I was an opening batsman for my local town’s team.

Best player you’ve faced?
Jadon Sancho. I played against him a few times when he was at Man City. He is so sharp and very skilful. He has such quick feet – it was ridiculous!

Best stadium you’ve played at?
Apart from Goodison, I’d say Old Trafford. We played there at the end of the season a couple of years back. I actually got my teeth knocked out in that match! Two of us collided after going up for a header and my two front teeth got knocked out. I finished the game, though!

Last thing you’ve watched on Netflix?
It would have been Power. It’s by far my favourite show.

Best moment of your career?
It’s always special being called up to play for your country but, if I had to pick one moment, it would be winning the Premier League 2 title with Everton in 2019. After all the hard work we put in, that meant a lot.

Favourite sportsperson?
LeBron James. Everything he does, he does it with a purpose. He’s also doing a lot of great work in the community now. He’s not just a sportsperson, he does so much more.

Initiation song?
It was Three Little Birds by Bob Marley. I played it strategically by picking a classic song so all the coaches would join in!

Who would win an Everton Under-23s Royal Rumble?
That’s an easy question! Me. Without a shadow of a doubt. I’d back myself one-handed!

What motivates you?
Being the best I can possibly be. I want to be a winner. I grew up with an older brother so there was always competition in everything we did. That mentality has always stuck with me – I want to win at everything, no matter what it is.

Best thing about being at Everton?
Everton is like a family. Everyone is always looking out for each other, and I was made to feel so welcome when I joined the Club. It’s just a great place to be.
