Everton Football Club joins the rest of Merseyside in sharing deep sadness at the death of one of Liverpool’s loveliest scousers and truly great voices, Gerry Marsden.

Gerry obviously shared a great relationship with Liverpool fans - but he was always welcome at Goodison and will be remembered by us with affection and admiration.

Everyone at Everton sends love and prayers to Gerry’s wife Pauline, his two daughters and the rest of his family and friends.
