Everton Chairman Donates His Seats Into Fan Ballot

Everton Chairman, Bill Kenwright, has donated his Chairman’s and Chairman’s guest seats to supporters for the Club's three remaining home league games of 2020.

The visit of Chelsea on Saturday will be the first game played in front of supporters at Goodison Park since Everton played Manchester United in March, shortly before the suspension of Premier League fixtures due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Two thousand Season Ticket Members have already been successful in the ballot process to attend the league encounter with Frank Lampard's side. Now, thanks to the donation from the Blues Chairman, two more supporters will be selected at random from the ballot pot and invited to watch the game… from the Chairman’s seats in the Directors’ Box!

Speaking to evertonfc.com, Mr Kenwright said: “While it’s been a privilege to be in the very small minority of those able to attend games this season as everyone has said, it really hasn’t been the same without supporters there.

“Of course, the highs and lows have still been there, but not being able to share them with other Evertonians has meant a consistent feeling of sadness for me from the moment I arrived at each stadium. Especially Goodison.

“Hopefully this period is coming to an end and we can soon be fully back to enjoying matches played as they should be – with all of us together. Now though, and as a small number of fans are to be allowed back, I want to make this gesture.

“While it will be a different experience for the 2,000 on Saturday I know they’ll all be thrilled to be back home and, to the two who get my seats, give them a cheer for me!”

To register for the ballot for upcoming matches against Arsenal and Manchester City, follow these steps:

- Access the ballot by clicking here or by calling the Fan Centre on 0151 556 1878 (opening hours 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday)

- Select the fixture/s you wish to attend and indicate the number and category of seats required (up to a maximum of six per registration from a friends and family group of eligible Season Ticket Members)

All the 2,000 match tickets for each game will be allocated via the ballot process. A minimum of 91% of tickets will be allocated to Season Ticket Members and a maximum of 9% to Seasonal Hospitality Members and players’ families.

The Club has developed a robust plan for the return of supporters which includes restricting ballot entries to Season Ticket Members and Season Hospitality Members who live in the Liverpool City Region.

The Howard Kendall Gwladys Street stand, the Top Balcony and designated areas for disabled fans will be used to accommodate supporters as part of a socially distanced seating plan.

In support of the Liverpool City Region mass-testing programme, all fans who are successful in the ballot will need to provide confirmation of having received a negative COVID-19 test result on the day of the game - or the day prior - to gain entry to the stadium.

Full requirements for match attendance for those fans successful in the ballot process will be communicated in advance of each fixture.

If you enter the ballot for a fixture, you will receive an email confirming the outcome of your ballot entry. These details will be communicated:

- Arsenal email confirmation and further details will be provided 14 December

- Man City email confirmation and further details will be provided 15 December
