Tuesday’s edition of the Daily Mail suggests Everton could be interested in signing Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti in the January transfer window.

The paper picks up on claims in the Spanish media that Barcelona could be willing to sell the 27-year-old, who has made 31 senior appearances for France and was part of their 2018 World Cup-winning squad.

Umtiti is rumoured to be valued at around £10.7million.

Several national newspapers report on Monday night’s third-round FA Cup draw.

Everton will kick-off their campaign at Goodison Park against Rotherham United. The game will be played over the weekend of Saturday 9 January.

The sides’ previous meeting was in August 2018, with the Blues beating Rotherham 3-1 in a second-round Carabao Cup tie.

And FIFA.com features an interview with Everton Women star Nicoline Sorensen.

The Danish forward joined the Club from Brondby during the summer and has made an impressive start to her Toffees career.

Sorensen outlined why she is convinced she made the right decision to sign for Everton.

“Everything came together with Everton to make me feel that this was the right club,” she said.

“I’m so happy to be here, and to be part of a club that has ambitions to be fighting at the top of the league, challenging for trophies and Champions League spots.”
