Everton Welcomes Fan Return Plans

Everton has welcomed confirmation from the UK Government that fans will be allowed to return to Premier League grounds after 2 December.

All areas of the country not under tier three restrictions will be permitted to welcome some supporters back into grounds next month. Merseyside’s tier status will be confirmed on Thursday.

If Merseyside is not in tier three, the Club will introduce a ballot process for Season Ticket Members and Seasonal Hospitality Members for home fixtures, beginning with the visit of Chelsea on 12 December.

The ballot will ONLY be open to Season Ticket and Hospitality Members, with the aim of keeping family and friend groups together where possible. Fans will have to ‘opt-in’ for the ballot. Full details for the ballot process will be shared on evertonfc.com and via email to fans following the Government's tier announcement on Thursday.

Tier one will allow a maximum of 4,000 fans to attend and tier two a maximum of 2,000 fans. The Club’s objective is to enable as many fans as possible to attend games, whilst prioritising the health and safety of fans and staff.

To support this process - and to help ensure Season Ticket Members can attend matches with friends and family - the Club is asking all fans to check their personal details and contact information stored with the Club. This can be accessed by clicking here.

It is important this information is up to date, as it will ensure the ballot process and distribution of tickets runs smoothly.

Any Season Ticket Members who do not wish to enter a ballot - or are unsuccessful in a ballot - will continue to receive a pro-rata refund for each game not attended.

Once again, the Club would like to express its thanks for the ongoing support, understanding and patience of supporters during this challenging period.
