Monday’s local and national newspapers reflect on Everton’s 3-2 victory at Fulham on Sunday, which lifted the Blues up to sixth in the Premier League table.

The Daily Mail features Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti, who praised in-form striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin after he struck a double in the game at Craven Cottage.

Calvert-Lewin has hit 10 goals in the Premier League this term and is the division's top goalscorer.

“Now in this moment Dominic is really focused in the box,” Ancelotti said. “Every ball that arrives from crosses, he is ready and is there.

“He is doing really well, honestly I didn't expect him to have the consistency he has in this period.”

The Liverpool Echo, meanwhile, states Lucas Digne “showed exactly why Everton fans love him” following an impressive performance from the Frenchman at Fulham.

“Throughout that first half, Digne's flicks and lung-busting runs up and down the pitch were crucial to Everton getting the upper hand in the game,” reports the local read.

“He continues to be one of the most important members of the squad.”

The Daily Express, meanwhile, suggests Everton are interested in signing Manchester United winger Dan James on loan in the January transfer window.

And Italian media outlet CalcioMercato claims Juventus are “considering” making a transfer offer for Everton striker Moise Kean next summer.

Kean joined the Blues from the Turin club in 2019 and is currently on loan at French outfit Paris Saint-Germain.
