Friday’s Daily Mail reports on quotes from Carlo Ancelotti, who has apparently dismissed the idea of a potential Everton move for Real Madrid midfielder Isco.

Isco, a Spain international, is said to favour a move from the Bernabeu in January and a reunion with his former Madrid boss Ancelotti has been touted in some quarters.

“It is not true that I am behind Isco,” Ancelotti is reported as saying.

“We haven't started thinking about the team for the January market.”

Football Insider nevertheless speculates over a potential Everton new year switch for Daniel James.

Wales international winger James has featured 51 times for United since joining from Swansea City in the summer of 2019.

The 23-year-old’s chances have been limited this season, however, James starting four of his club’s 12 games in all competitions – and Old Trafford boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could sanction a January loan, according to the Football Insider story.

Juventus’s German World Cup winner Sami Khedira has intimated he would be keen to play under Ancelotti for a second time following two years with the Italian at Real Madrid.

Khedira was a member of Ancelotti’s 2014 Champions League winning team and exited Madrid in the same summer – 2015 – as the manager.

He has been with Juve the past five years and told Sky Germany: "There are many coaches, even in the Premier League that I respect a lot.

“Ancelotti is doing a great job at the moment and is a great personality. He is one of the coaches who impressed me also.

“When I was a child it was always a big dream of mine to be a Premier League player.

"I am really happy and satisfied with my career until now but one thing is still missing because I always had this dream and it has never come true… to be a part of the Premier League.

"I enjoyed always to play with my teams to play in the Champions League against the English clubs. The atmosphere, the style and idea of football has always impressed me.

"If it is possible it will for sure be a really big dream and honour to be a part of the Premier League."

Italian website Calciomercato claims Everton will battle Leicester City and Inter Milan for the signature of Ruslan Malinovskyi.

The attacking midfielder from Ukraine is with Atalanta in Serie A after switching from Belgian club Genk prior to 2019/20

Malinovskyi, 27, scored eight goals and provided five assists as Atalanta finished third in Italy’s top-flight last season and featured prominently in his club’s run to the Champions League last eight.

An article on the same website states Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus will both try to take Moise Kean from Everton next summer.

Striker Kean is spending 2020/21 on loan in the French capital with PSG and has five goals from seven appearances.

He came to Everton from Juventus before the start of last season and manager Ancelotti has suggested the player will return to the Goodison fold next term.

Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze, a summer signing from Queens Park Rangers, has heaped praise on James Rodriguez.

Londoner Eze encountered James for the first time when Palace met the Colombian attacker's Everton team at Selhurst Park two months ago.

“He was picking off passes and I was just thinking, 'I didn’t even know what was going to happen there',” Eze told premierleague.com.

“Looking back at it, you’re like, ‘I don’t know how he even saw that. What made you do that?’ He looked like a crazy player.”
