Thursday’s Liverpool Echo reports Everton forward Richarlison “is confident” he will be fit to play in the Blues’ Premier League fixture at Fulham on Sunday.

Richarlison was substituted 20 minutes from time in Brazil’s 2-0 victory over Uruguay on Tuesday – having earlier netted his sixth senior international goal – after a heavy challenge by Edinson Cavani, for which the Manchester United striker received a red card.

But the Echo claims the 23-year-old does not face an injury layoff and is likely to be available for Sunday’s midday kick-off at Craven Cottage.

Spanish newspaper Sport is the latest publication to link Everton with a move for Real Madrid’s Isco.

The paper suggests the Blues could make an £18million move for the midfielder in the January transfer window.

The Daily Mirror, meanwhile, picks up on reports in the Italian media that Everton are interested in signing Spanish international Luis Alberto from Lazio.

Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti is rumoured to be “an admirer” of the 28-year-old midfielder, who joined the Rome club from Liverpool in 2016.

Back to the Echo, and the paper reflects on Everton Women’s 1-0 Merseyside derby victory at Walton Hall Park on Wednesday night.

Izzy Christiansen’s fifth-minute strike proved the difference in the Continental Cup clash. The win keeps the Blues’ hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages of the competition alive.
