Ben Godfrey will wear Everton’s number 22 shirt this season after completing his transfer from Norwich City and signing a five-year contract.
The centre-back previously wore that number for the Canaries before becoming the Norfolk club’s number four ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
Godfrey – whose Everton shirt number mirrors his age – joins the Blues having forged a reputation as one of England’s most promising young defenders.
